Clint Charter was born and raised on a 125 acre dairy farm in Ellington, CT. The farm is still operated by his family today. After attending local schools and Rockville High School, Clint attended the University of Connecticut obtaining a BS and MS in Agricultural Economics.

Upon graduation from UConn, Clint worked for the University of Connecticut Extension Service and the Charles H. Hood Dairy Foundation each for four years as a Management Consultant. In 1971, Clint started his career with Farm Credit as a Loan Officer. Over the next 25 years he became Credit Supervisor, President and CEO before taking early retirement in December of 1994.

Since retiring, Clint has worked as a Business Manager for the Robert Baker Nurseries in Suffield, CT and as a Sales Agent for Wallace-Tustin Realty of South Windsor. Clint has lived in South Windsor for 28 years, serving as Director and President of his condominium association at Bryrewood Condominiums for the last 25 years. He was a founding member of the University of Connecticut College of Agriculture Alumni Association and received the Outstanding Alumni of the Year Award in 1997.

Clint has a diverse real estate sales background. He has experience in closing transactions involving single family homes, condominiums, commercial property, and land.
